TST launches comprehensive content, event activation and ecommerce partnership with soccer powerhouses adidas and Soccer.com.

BOSTON May 21, 2024) – The Soccer Tournament (TST), which features $1 million, winner-take-all tournaments for men and women on the ESPN networks, today announced that legendary brands adidas and Soccer.com will help grow the event in 2024 and beyond through a collaborative partnership that elevates both the athlete and fan experience.

Soccer.com, who partnered with TST during their inaugural event in 2023, will serve as the official retail partner and exclusive home of ecommerce for TST in an expanded partnership that will include multiple store experiences on site during this summer’s event and an all-new fan autograph area.
adidas is recognized as an official partner specializing in fanwear and performance footwear for TST 2024. In anticipation of the 60,000-plus spectators in attendance, adidas Soccer will have an activation onsite for selective competition days and is thrilled to align with TST leadership on this progressive game format further uniting the global soccer community.
TST, Soccer.com and adidas will design a performance collection of apparel that will be given to TST’s 1,000 athletes. The group will also jointly produce a line of TST branded merchandise for fans, which will include t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, and more. Soccer.com and adidas will also be covering the event closely via their social media channels, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at all of the action from both the men’s and women’s tournaments.

Notable players slated to compete in TST’s 48-team men’s bracket and eight-team women’s bracket include ESPN personality Pat McAfee (The CONCAFA SC), JJ and Kealia Watt (Burnley FC), English Premier League legend Sergio Agüero (Agüero Team), Luis Nani (Nani FC), former NFL wide receiver Chad Ochocinco (Nati SC), and former US Women’s National Team teammates Heather O’Reilly and Ali Krieger (US Women). In addition to Burnley, the men’s tournament will also include entries from European clubs Borussia Dortmund, Wrexham Red Dragons, and Villarreal CF. Burnley and Wrexham will also enter teams in the women’s event, alongside entries from NWSL clubs Angel City FC and North Carolina Courage.

The Soccer Tournament will take place at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, North Carolina from June 5-10. Forty-eight men’s teams will compete in a World Cup-style tournament:
- Group Stage: June 5-6
- Round of 32: June 7
- Round of 16: June 8
- Quarter-Finals: June 8
- Semi-Finals: June 9
- Final: June 10
The women’s tournament will feature a total of eight teams all competing for an equal $1M, winner-take-all, cash prize. The eight participating teams will compete over three days:
- Group Stage: June 7
- Semi-Final: June 9
- Final: June 10
Both the men’s and women’s events will conclude in a winner-take-all championship doubleheader on June 10, with a total of $2M in prize money being awarded.
