Storied English Club becomes the Second EPL Club to Enter North Carolina Event in June
BOSTON, Mass. (April 24, 2023) – The Soccer Tournament, the $1 million, winner-take-all, 7v7 world championship playing its inaugural event in Cary, NC from June 1-4, 2023, today announced the entry of historic English club West Ham in the 32-team event.
West Ham will join Wolverhampton as the only two English Premier League clubs to enter teams in TST’s inaugural field.

West Ham becomes the 14th team to be unveiled in TST’s field. The full 32-team field and subsequent groups will be unveiled on May 4.
“We are excited to see West Ham roll its team out,” said TST founder and CEO Jon Mugar. “Not only is the club almost 130 years old, but it is also forward thinking enough to embrace the stakes and excitement of the TST model. This will be an exciting team to follow.”
Already confirmed for West Ham United are two fan favorites: former England international winger Matt Jarvis and Premier League star striker Marlon Harewood.

We’re really looking forward to heading out to North Carolina to fly the flag for West Ham and hopefully do the club proud.”
