La Bombonera dominated the field in 2024, cruising through the group stage with a perfect 3-0 record. Their momentum only grew in the knockout rounds, where they outscored their opponents 21-4 on their way to the championship.

Their million-dollar moment came in the final against Portuguese legend Luís Nani and Nani FC. Chad Poarch sealed the victory with a game-winning strike in Target Score Time, capping off a commanding 4-0 win.
