Toronto Atheltic FC (formerly SLC FC) comes from the Sports League Canada, an adult soccer league in the Greater Toronto Area. Their roster will consist of some of the best Canadian talent with experience in MLS, USL, NASL, Canadian Premier League and college soccer. SLC FC went 2-1 in group C with a goal differential of +1 which was good enough to advance to bracket play. In bracket play SLC thrived beating Culture By Mo Ali FC 4-3, Blade & Grass FC 3-2 and ZALA FFF 1-0 on their way to the finals before losing to Newton Pride 0-2.

This year the team will be playing under their sponsor name Toronto Athletic FC – A premier youth soccer organization in the Greater Toronto Area. Their roster will consist of some of the best talent from the Canadian Futsal National Team and League1 Ontario. Building on their impressive performance from last year, where they came tantalizingly close to victory, they’re surely determined to go all the way this time.
