Wrexham Red Dragons will be back in Cary, North Carolina this summer at TST. They will once again be representing their club Wrexham AFC and North Wales. Wrexham is the oldest football team in Wales and the third oldest in the world. Featured on the hit FX show “Welcome to Wrexham”, this club has become the darlings of the world soccer community. Since Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney took over ownership in 2020, the club has climbed the English football pyramid, rising from the National League (5th Tier) to the English Football League One (3rd Tier). The Red Dragons currently sit towards the top of the EFL One table, hoping yet another promotion this season.

The Wrexham Red Dragons advanced to the Round of 16 in both 2023 and 2024, scoring more goals than any other team in TST history. Goalkeeper Mark Howard has shined in net, keeping clean sheets and scoring clutch Target Score Time goals. Striker George Boyd has been a standout for Wrexham, holding the title of the tournament’s all-time leading scorer with 11 goals.
